We are a family owned business and take great pride in the work we do. The business has been passed on for four generations (see biography) and Bill Fournier, the current owner, has been sanding floors in the greater Hartford area since 1974. Specialized techniques used in the business have been learned through fifty years of family  experience.

Today, Bill's Floor Sanding uses the most modern, up-to-date equipment available in the market today. Recent investment in the revolutionary DUSTLESS SANDING SYSTEM is an example of the company's dedication to technology, which improves the workplace for the customer. 

Bill's sons and employees are dedicated to their grandfather's art of detail. How different wood is approached; how wood grain is treated; patterns and age of the wood; sanding techniques; finishing techniques...many steps of care to ensure a final beautiful result.
